The Annual Appeal
You can help in a number of ways with gifts to the Annual Appeal. You may make a contribution to the appeal in any amount to be used wherever we need it most, or you may direct your gift toward something specific, such as:

United Wayl
Your Contributions to the United Way and the Combined federal Campaign can be designated directly to Flying Changes Center! The United Way ID # is – 15781. See the CFC annual publication for identification number.

Adopt A Horse
You can adopt a horse with a monthly or annual contribution. Your Adopt A Horse donations help pay for hay, grain, shoes, supplements and medication for our loyal therapy horses. Most of them have special needs, just as our riders do, so they require a little extra TLC. We will put your name on your adopted horse’s stall, and you will receive an update from your horse during the year. And, of course, we hope you will give us a call if you want to stop by and see your adopted friend. We would be happy to arrange for a visit. Adopt A Horse and make a new friend today!

Wish List Items
We always need items such as bridles, saddles, saddle pads, stirrup leathers, horse supplements, photographic film, books, office supplies and airline miles. We also have dreams of updating our technology with big-ticket items such as computer printers and video editing equipment. We would be happy to talk with you on the phone if you have an item to donate or you would like to help us purchase one. The Wish List is included in our quarterly newsletter, so please let us know if you would like to be added to our mailing list.

Capital Projects
Farm life and animal care require tractors, trucks, barns, sheds, and fences, and maintenance and repair work are ongoing. If you would like to find out about how you can help with a capital project, please contact us.

Horses
Therapy horses carry precious cargo, and we take great care in selecting, evaluating and training them. If you have a horse you think might be suitable for our programs, or if you would like to help us purchase a horse, please give us a call.

Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate sponsors play a significant role in the success of our events throughout the year. Please contact Barbara Doughty at 207-729-0168 for corporate sponsorship and marketing opportunities.

Stock Gifts
Gifts of stock and appreciated securities are welcome. Please contact us for more information on the completion of stock transactions. It is very simple to do.

Planned Gifts
There is a very simple way you can make a difference that will last beyond your lifetime. You may name Flying Changes as a beneficiary in your will, on an insurance policy, or in an individual retirement account.

There are many other planned giving instruments available such as charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts that will not only help Flying Changes, but give you tax advantages. Consult your financial planner to help you choose an option that is right for you.
