Buddy

Buddy passed away July 27, 2004. He was very much loved by our adult volunteers.
Buddy was a rescue case, given to Flying Changes in the hopes that we could rehabilitate him from starvation and then add him to the stable of therapy horses. After several months, Buddy did gain the proper weight, shed the dull coat and grew a beautiful shiny one. He was sweet and willing, but the starvation had apparently taken its toll and he wasn’t steady enough on his feet to be used in lessons. Buddy had gone off to live with therapy horse Juliet’s former family, and his job there included keeping their new miniature horse company.
