Meet the Staff

Kathryn Levesque, Executive Director
We would like to introduce you to Kathi Levesque our new Executive Director! Having grown up on a farm, Kathi comes from a family of six girls where horses ran aplenty!!! Her passion for working with people and her love for animals, and the outdoors, has proven to be the perfect fit!!!

Kathi comes to us with an extensive background in the criminal justice field, as well as the non-profit sector. Her experience and vision are just what Flying Changes needed to start our new journey forward. In her short tenure, Kathi has made many wonderful changes to the barn and will soon be out in the public eye with Lily, our “visiting mini”! Her hope is to bring Flying Changes to new heights and open the doors to the community, so that everyone can experience all the benefits the equine world can offer!!!

Jim Badger, Instructor, Equine Director
Jim has loved horses for as long as he can remember. His heroes have always been the cowboys of the old west, and youngsters have nicknamed him Cowboy Jim as he often wears a cowboy hat.

Jim has been around the horse training business for more than 15 years. He has studied Natural Horsemanship training under trainers Buck Branhamann, Bryan Newbert, and Terry McClare. Jim has recently started to study under Cleve Wells, an 18 time AQHA National and World Champion and Reserve World Champion in western pleasure and reining.

When Jim was serving in the Navy he rode the majestic Lusitano Stallions of Spain as well as Icelandic horses among the glaciers of Iceland. Jim has also had the wonderful experience of working cattle on horseback in the Chiricahua Mountains of Arizona; this he says is by far the most educational experience of his riding career.

Jim has achieved Level I Parelli Natural Horsemanship Certification, and is presently pursuing certification in Levels 2 and 3.

Jim is showing the horses he owns with his fiancé Beth in Western Pleasure and Team Penning arenas this year and he is also pursuing his NARHA Therapeutic Riding Instructor Certification.
